NOTE: Beginning in February, journal activities will be provided on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month. I would encourage you to utilize old activities on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month. If you’ve already completed a journal activity, you can repeat it and there is great value in comparing to how your thoughts changed from the 1st time you completed the journal activity.
Face your fear because your goal demands it.
Last night I watched Alex Honnold Free Solo Taipei 101 which is a 101-story, 1,667 foot skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan. When a climber Free Solos, that means they climb without ropes or safety gear. It was absolutely incredible and insane to watch.
We regularly use the documentary “Free Solo” about Alex Free Soloing El Capitan in Yosemite in our Leadership Academy in our unit about confidence. It’s full of some many incredible lessons. If you haven’t watched it before, you can check it out on Netflix.
Watch this video (4:59) from that documentary where Alex talks about the Fearless Warrior Mindset!
The thing is anybody can be happy and cozy.
Nothing good happens in the world by being happy and cozy.
You know like nobody achieves anything great because they are happy and cozy.
It’s about being a warrior.
